 First of all, we want to thank Cineleisure for giving us a chance to visit the beautiful island of Bali. It was a really special opportunity that we will remember for the rest of our lives. The journey was indeed a memorable one. We also want to thank Cineleisure for organizing a cozy and quiet cottage in Kerobokan for us, the hotel staffs were very friendly and the prices for food and beverages were reasonable. Besides the calm and peaceful hotel, we also got to experience the hustle and bustle of the town life while shopping in Kuta- the main town which is located 5-6 km from our hotel. We also got to witness a very special fashion show which was held in a surf shop. They actually used real models instead of mannequins! We got a lot of good bargains on beach wear of famous Australian brands such as Rip Curl, Billabong, Quicksilver, and Roxy. The cars in Bali are mostly Taxis and most people there work as taxi drivers. Balinese in general are very friendly and honest; even in such a short period of time, we noticed they are enjoying a simple and carefree life. We also learnt that in Bali, most prices can be discounted. And that toilets are called ‘Kamar Kecil’ instead of ‘Tandas’.
We also had time to visit the famous volcano up in Ubud. After lunch up in the mountains, we went down to Nusa Dua which is a beach with a whole list of the water sports activities. We only got to ride the Jet Ski for half an hour because it was too pricy to play most of the other water sports.
On the last day, we went to the famous beach in Kuta- Legian beach which is located right opposite the Hard Rock Café Hotel. The beach was crowded with people as it was a public holiday. The wind almost blew us away and we could hardly hear ourselves because of the crashing sound of the waves!
Unfortunately, all good things come to an end. Although we were contented, we left Bali unwillingly. If given another chance to visit Bali, we definitely will!
