It was all cheer and happiness at Cineleisure Damansara on 18 & 19 November 2006. The audience was entertained by 8 teams of talented dancers vying for the top spot in the Happy Feet Dance Mania Contest. The dance challenge was held in conjunction with the anticipated release of the animated blockbuster Happy Feet.
Participants were decked out in penguin suits and other smashing outfits. The dance routines revolved around the themes “Penguin Dance” or “Happy Feet”. They showcased various dance styles such as tap, jazz, hip hop and many more. Watching the energetic dancers brought a smile to everyone who was watching.
Team “Dancing Animals” bagged the 1 st prize of RM3000 while team “Super Duper Kids” and team “Happy Girls” came in 2 nd and 3 rd place respectively.
