Digi customers clock 72 hours non-stop movie marathon!
Kuala Lumpur, 31 JULY 2006 — At 11:15am, eight DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd ("DiGi") customers set a new world record for the longest movie marathon.
These plucky contestants watched 33 consecutive movies over 72 hours and 12 minutes, beating the previous known world record of 70 hours and 33 minutes set by four Norwegians in November 2005.
The eight DiGi customers share this new world record, which is sanctioned by the Malaysian Book of Records.
