One stormy night, the alert Danning raises the alarm and manages to save her fellow orphans from the collapsing building.

IT’S ALWAYS SPRING

Xu Zhaofeng offers Li Ailian, a top Singapore songstress a job to sing in his nightclub. On hearing this, Tao Haiyin, Hong Kong's queen of songs insists that she be hired as well. Tension builds up between the two songstresses, who later reconcile after their differences have been settled. Zhaofeng takes the opportunity to propose to Haiyin and she accepts. To celebrate the wedding, Ailian and Haiyin jointly give a song and dance performance to the applause of the many guests present.

   

BECAUSE OF HER

Li Meixin rejects Du Ziping's marriage proposal on the eve of Du's departure to further his studies in Japan. Li joins a travelling troupe under Jin Shiming and becomes a success overnight. While performing in Singapore, Li discovers she is pregnant. For the sake of Li and the unborn child, Jin
marries Li. Due to financial losses, Jin's troupe is disbanded. Du returns from Japan and is invited to play the male lead opposite Li in a new troupe. Caught in a dilemma, Li dies in a fall while running away from Du.

After witnessing a murder in the nightclub where they work, showgirls Bai Lihong and Lin Yanfei hide in a school. A student mistakes them for performers in a fund-raising show but their true identities are soon discovered. While helping the students in one of their charity shows, they spot the killer among the audience and manage to overpower him with the students' help.

Chen and Yuan are tour guides who has lent the company's funds to a colleague who claims to need it for an emergency but instead has gambled the money away. To hide from their boss, Chen and Yuan check into a hotel using pseudonyms and claim that they are from Singapore. Meanwhile, the head of the Jin Organisation comes from Singapore secretly to inspect his operations in Hong Kong. His local general manager Mr Wei is afraid that his corrupt practices may be exposed and decides to track Mr Jin's whereabouts. Chen, a dead-ringer for Mr Jin, is mistaken for him.

   

NO TIME FOR LOVE

Ding Dawei, a wealthy and famous man wins the hand of Laura from a very powerful Indian prince. In an attempt to get first hand information, reporter Bai disguises herself as a maid and infiltrates Ding's residence. Meanwhile, the Indian prince tracks Ding to Hong Kong. In order to avoid the Indian prince, Ding and Laura move out of their house only to end up staying in the same hotel as the Indian prince.
